Our Story

Identifix, a Solera company, has helped auto repair shops grow their profits and businesses since 1987

The flagship, industry-leading Direct-Hit® auto repair software offers more than 3 million technician submitted and confirmed fixes. Identifix has grown to provide a comprehensive suite of solutions designed to address the most pressing needs of auto repair businesses, including: Direct-Help — a live hotline with master technicians, Identifix Shop Manager — modernized repair shop management software, Direct-Market – direct marketing services, Direct-Target – digital marketing services, and Autodata Training — providing on-demand video-based training.

  • Automotive Information Systems Founded

1988

  • Autoline Telediagnosis (Technical Repair Hotline) launches with 4 technicians

1991

  • Company relocates to Roseville MN

1992
